You must disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal as the first step for removing the front door power door lock actuator. The removal process starts with the front armrest base upper panel together with front door lower frame bracket garnish followed by front door inside handle bezel then front door trim board sub-assembly until the front door glass inner Weather Strip. The service begins by removing the outer rear view mirror assembly alongside the front door belt moulding assembly and front door trim bracket followed by the front door service hole cover and front door glass sub-assembly with its associated front door glass run. Follow this with the removal sequence of the front door window regulator sub-assembly and both the front door frame rear lower sub-assembly and separation door stiffener cushion and front door outside handle cover. Disconnection of wiring connector marks the first step prior to utilizing a "TORX" socket wrench T30 to extract the 3 screws then pushing down the front door lock before pulling out the open rod from the outside handle frame to separate front door lock and cables as one piece. Unfasten the front door lock open rod from the front door lock and follow by detaching the door lock wire harness seal before pulling out the front door lock remote control cable. To access the cover use a screwdriver with protected wrapping which releases the 3 claws enabling you to open the cover and remove the front door inside locking cable so it can be removed.
