The first step to remove the power door lock actuator from the front door requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable. Rework the procedure by first taking off the front armrest base upper panel followed by the front door lower frame bracket garnish then proceed to remove the front door inside handle bezel and front door trim board sub-assembly and finally front door glass inner Weather Strip. First detach the outer rear view mirror assembly and front door belt moulding assembly together with the front door trim bracket followed by the front door service hole cover and front door glass sub-assembly and front door glass run and front door window regulator sub-assembly. The second step of removal requires taking away the front door frame rear lower sub-assembly alongside the separation door stiffener cushion and front door outside handle cover. Detaching the front door lock begins by disconnecting the connector followed by using a "TORX" socket wrench T30 to remove three screws. The front door lock should slide downward while you pull its open rod from the outside handle frame until the lock and cables can be taken out together.
