How to remove the power door lock actuator from the front door on 2010 Scion xB?

Disconnection of the negative battery cable is the first step for power door lock actuator removal from front doors. Proceed by taking out the front armrest base upper panel together with the front door lower frame bracket garnish and front door inside handle bezel and front door trim board sub-assembly and front door glass inner Weather Strip. After the front door outside handle cover the technician should proceed to remove the outer rear view mirror assembly followed by the front door belt moulding assembly and front door trim bracket and front door service hole cover and front door glass sub-assembly and front door glass run and front door window regulator sub-assembly and front door frame rear lower sub-assembly and separation door stiffener cushion. Remove the front door lock by disconnecting the connector followed by using a "TORX" socket wrench T30 to detach the 3 screws located on it. Position the front door lock in a downward direction while removing the front door lock open rod from outside handle frame to extract the front door lock and its cables. Begin the repair by removing the front door lock open rod from the front door lock followed by eliminating the door lock wire harness seal from this unit and finally disassociating the front door lock remote control cable. The screwdriver tip should be protected with tape before you use it to disengage the three claws which allows access to the cover opening to remove the front door inside locking cable.
