How do you replace the Crankshaft Seal on 2008 Toyota RAV4?

Use your screwdriver and hammer to tap out the old oil seal from its timing chain cover position. Place the oil seal retainer on wooden blocks and coat the lip of a new oil seal with multi-purpose grease without foreign matter. Press the new oil seal into position with Special Service Tool: 09223-22010 and a hammer while keeping the surface level with the timing gear case edge. Never tap the oil seal directly from an angle.
