A disconnection of negative battery terminal is necessary to repair the Air Bag Control Module. Disassemble the shift lever knob, upper console panel, rear console box cover and rear console box. Next, unattach the front console box and center Air Bag sensor assembly, being careful not to touch the battery so that it can be accidentally deployed.
