2008 Scion xB Air Bag Sensor Parts Q&A
Q: How to remove the side Air Bag sensor on 2008 Scion xB?
A: Users need to begin their side Air Bag sensor removal process by disconnecting the battery cable negative terminal along with waiting 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag activation. The next step involves removing the front door scuff plate RH together with the rear door scuff plate RH, front door opening trim Weather Strip RH and rear door opening trim Weather Strip RH and center pillar lower garnish RH. Before proceeding check that the power source remains cut off at the negative terminal to prevent accidental Air Bag discharging. The next steps include using the outer housing to remove the Air Bag connector followed by bolt removal and then hook detachment until you finish by taking out the side Air Bag sensor assembly.
