Staring with the steering pad removal, technicians should proceed to remove both the steering wheel assembly and the steering column cover. The step for the clock spring involves separating the horn connector followed by sliding the connector disengager to release the Air Bag connector before removing the steering sensor connector. Three claws should be disengaged for complete removal of the clock spring. During the procedure the steering angle sensor should be taken out with all other parts.
