  A: Before installing the sensor for Engine Coolant Temperature begin by applying a new gasket onto its surface. Use Special Service Tool: 09817-33190 to install the sensor by tightening it to 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) and connect its connector. Both parts of the installation require beginning with securing the air cleaner case sub-assembly with 3 bolts at 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf). Afterward, attach the wire harness to the air cleaner case sub-assembly. After installation of the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly complete the procedure by locking the air cleaner cap sub-assembly along with the air cleaner hose then tighten the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp. Route the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose and the No. 2 ventilation hose to the air cleaner hose before you install the vacuum switching valve assembly together with the wire harness.
