The knock sensor connector needs disconnecting before removing the nut and sensor. The new knock sensor should receive a 20 N.m (199 kgf.cm) torque when you install it along with the nut at a sensor angle below 0 degrees. For assembly place the sensor connector followed by a new gasket and intake manifold while using the 5 bolts and 2 nuts which require a torque of 30 N.m (306 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf).
