  A: Service of the ignition coil starts by disconnecting the negative battery cable then waiting a minimum of 90 seconds to avoid activating the Air Bag system and seat belt pretensioners. The servicing begins with removal of the V-bank cover sub-assembly and then continues with the intake air connector pipe removal. To disconnect the engine wire detach the two engine wire clamps fastened to the cylinder head cover on the left-hand side. You must disconnect the ignition coil assembly by removing its bolt followed by connector removal. Begin installation by mounting the ignition coil assembly with bolt while torquing it to 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm and 66 in.lbf). Reconnect the wiring connector after that. Install the intake air connector pipe followed by the V-bank cover sub-assembly after reconnecting engine wire clamps to the cylinder head cover on its left-hand side. After disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery you must perform initialization because some systems need this process.
