How to remove and install the No. 1 Car Speakers with box on 2006 Toyota Tacoma?

A safe method to remove the No. 1 speaker with box begins with disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Start by removing the rear seatback assembly RH and then follow it with the rear seatback assembly LH and finally with the luggage compartment side tray. You must disconnect the three connectors and remove a clamp while unscrewing four bolts before you can separate the No. 1 speaker assembly with box. The stereo component amplifier assembly can be removed by using a Torx socket wrench T20 to disconnect its 4 screws. Begin the process of installation by fitting the stereo component amplifier assembly through the four screws which requires a Torx socket wrench T20. Use the specified bolt installation order to attach the No. 1 speaker assembly with box by tightening its bolts to 8.4 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 74 in.lbf). Fasten the connector and put on the clamp. Begin by putting in the luggage compartment side tray followed by the LH rear seatback assembly and finish with the RH rear seatback assembly. Fully connect the cable to the negative battery terminal by tightening it to 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf).
