A service of the Auxiliary Cigarette Lighter starts by disconnecting the negative battery cable. A Torx socket wrench T30 helps uninstall the cigarette lighter assembly after removing 4 screws. In this step you should also disconnect the connector and free both clamp and the cigarette lighter assembly. The installation process requires you to attach the clamp followed by connector connection before applying the Torx socket wrench T30 to fasten both the 4 screws and the cigarette lighter assembly at 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf). Follow the specified screw installation sequence. In the last step reattach the cable to the negative battery terminal and tighten it using 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf) torque.
