A torx(R) socket wrench (T30) enables removal of the 4 screws securing the assembly after which workers detach the connector before they remove the clamp and cigarette lighter assembly. Beginning installation requires first connecting the connector to the clamp followed by screw installation using the torx(R) socket wrench (T30) according to a specified order and a torque requirement of 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf). Finish up by attaching the cable to the negative battery terminal while torquing it to 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf).
