  A: The hood disassembly process starts with radiator grille removal before proceeding to the removal of the No. 2 hood lock release lever protector and hood lock assembly disconnection by removing 3 bolts and disconnecting the hood lock control cable assembly. Remove the hood support and its accompanying grommet before extracting the hood stay holder by disengaging two claws with the help of a clip remover. The washer nozzle sub-assembly requires unclipping 2 claws before disconnecting its washer hose. Uninstall the hood lock control cable protector sub-assembly by removing its 2 nuts before disengaging the 2 claws to remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly while disconnecting the hood lock control cable assembly and fastening a piece of string to its tip for future operation.
