How to service the camshaft position sensor on 2006 Toyota Tacoma?

In order to service the camshaft position sensor, remove the negative battery terminal. Disassemble the sensor by disconnecting connector and bolt. Before installation, apply engine oil on the O-ring and torque is 8.5 N. m. Inspect the O-ring, reconnect the sensor and once again reconnect the battery terminal at the 3.9 N. m torque.
