The installation of the heated oxygen sensor requires Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 while applying 44 N.m (449 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lbf) or 40 N.m (408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf) torque with the tool using a 300 mm (11.81 in.) torque wrench fulcrum. Connect the wire harness clamp (for 4WD drive type) alongside reconnecting the oxygen sensor connector. Use the Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to complete the procedure by connecting the negative battery cable with a torque force of 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf). Check for exhaust gas leakage afterwards.
