When installing the front upper suspension arm start by fastening it with 2 washers and a bolt and a nut while maintaining the suspension stable before torquing the bolt to 98 Nm (1,000 kgf-cm, 72 ft. lbs.). After tightening the brake and fuel line clamp with 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 inch lbs.), install the rear fender apron seal. Begin by attaching the upper ball joint to the upper suspension arm; afterward install the nut followed by a fresh cotter pin and if the pin holes are not aligned torque the nut an additional 60 degrees while tightening it to 105 Nm (1,100 kgf-cm, 77 ft. lbs.). ABS speed sensor wire harness clamps should be connected with 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) torque. End the installation of the shock absorber with coil spring and verify the front wheel alignment.
