Pre runner models require installation of a new lock nut after torquing it to 2,800 kgf-cm (274 Nm, 203 ft. lbs.) using Special Service Tool: 09318-12010 followed by chiseling and hammering it. The service requires a press along with Special Service Tool: 09950-60010 (09951-00650), 09950-70010 (09951-07150) to install the bearing spacer on 4WD models before mounting the new inside oil seal with Special Service Tool: 09527-17011 and a plastic hammer while coating the oil seal lip with MP grease. To complete the installation add the grease cap that is specific to Pre runner models.
