A hexagon wrench should be used to stabilize the ball joint stud when it rotates with the nut. Proceed with this step on the side opposite from the first. Extract the sway bar kit from the rear axle housing by unscrewing its 4 bolts with sway bar kit, bushings and brackets and tightening them to 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft. lbs.). Remove the sway bar kit from the rear axle housing then proceed to detach both brackets and bushings among the sway bar kit components. Perform inspection by rotating ball joint studs in every direction; any limited smooth and free motion requires substituting the sway bar link.
