    Q:
How to install the crankshaft position sensor on Scion xD? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must lubricate the O-ring on the sensor with a small amount of engine oil before placing the crankshaft position sensor into its position. Begin by applying light engine oil on the O-ring of the sensor before tightening it with the bolt to 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf). The crankshaft position sensor requires its connector to be attached as the next step of the installation process. Inspection for oil leaks should happen following sensor installation. The engine under cover RH needs to be installed with 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf) torque.
