Q: How to install the Camshaft Position Sensor on Toyota Prius?
A:
The first step to install the 1NZ-FXE engine control system Camshaft Position Sensor is to fasten the sensor with its bolt while applying 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf) torque then secure the sensor connector. The next step is to install both the inverter with its converter. Attach the cable to the negative battery termina. Add necessary amounts of coolant from the HV system and the engine system before performing leak inspections of both components. Install first the radiator support opening cover before you install both right and left engine under covers. The system initialization process should be performed with attention to systems that need to be initialized following negative (-) battery terminal cable disconnect and reconnection.
