Camshaft Position Sensor

Remove the bolt and the camshaft position sensor.

Installation follows the reverse order of removal.

First, disconnect the connector.

Install the sensor with the bolt and torque it to 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf).

Remove the bolt and the camshaft position sensor.

Install the new sensor with the bolt, torquing it to 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf), and reconnect the sensor connector.

Remove the bolt and the camshaft position sensor.

Installation follows the reverse order of removal.

First, remove the converter and inverter assembly.

Remove the windshield wiper link assembly, cowl top panel sub-assembly outer front, and inverter cover.

Install the engine under covers on both the right and left sides.

Reinstall the radiator support opening cover and both engine under covers, then perform initialization as certain systems require this after reconnecting the negative battery terminal.

A torque of 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) should be applied during reinstallation.

Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

A light coat of engine oil.

Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.

Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
