You must install the lower ball joint assembly front LH by connecting it to the
Steering Knuckle LH before tightening the castle nut to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf). After tightening, use a new cotter pin. The front axle assembly LH requires installation first followed by the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No. 1 LH and finally the tie rod end sub-assembly LH. Afterward install the
Speed Sensor front LH (with ABS) before torquing the front
Axle Shaft LH nut. Fasten the front wheel by applying torque of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf). The last step involves both checking and adjusting the front wheel alignment and testing the ABS speed sensor signal which performs Antilock Brake System and Vehicle Stability Control System functionality tests.
