How to service and repair the trailing arm on Toyota Highlander?

In order to fix the trailing arm of 2WD and 4WD models, unscrew the rear wheel and hold back the rear axle carrier. Unscrew strut rod assembly, making sure that nuts do not turn. Install temporarily, stabilize the suspension and tighten bolts to required or agreed torques. Lastly, replace the rear wheel and make an adjustment.
