The caliper installation method consists of drawing enough brake fluid from the reservoir followed by pressing the piston with a hammer hand or equivalent tool (the bleeder plug needs loosening if pressing the piston becomes challenging) before putting in the caliper and the slide pin with lithium soap base glycol grease on the slide pin. Secure the flexible hose and bolt to its bracket by applying either 43 Nm torque for TMMK vehicles or 34 Nm torque for TMC vehicles. When done with installation torque the rear wheel to 103 Nm (1.050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.) then depress the brake pedal several times and verify the fluid level reaches the max line.
