The Scion Evaporator absorbs hot and humid air and reintroduces cool and dry breezes to relax in summer cruising. In case of faulty Evaporator depriving the cabin as a result of cold air, start changing it by first removing the battery, then recovering refrigerant and go-around the glove box to get the HVAC case. Disconnect electricity, loosen AC refrigerant lines and lay the HVAC module or access panel aside. Removal of aged Evaporator core, relocation of seals and temperature sensors, installation of new Evaporator using new O-rings and closing of the case. Reconnect ducts wiring and lines, vacuum, refill system, start engine, oil leaks, and ensure that cold air is flowing steadily at all fan speeds.
