The Scion Drive Shaft provides the youth targeted car line with the direct vibration free connection between engine and wheels that makes every ride lively. In 2003, Scion came into market and seduced first time buyers with cool image such as Virtual Scion City, limited Release Series, and no haggle buying experience that allowed owners to choose daring colors and customize fast. Scion, a kind of laboratory of Toyota, sold over one million small cars in the form of nimble compacts before the badge was retiring in 2016, although the ethos of experimentation remains leading fans who love their cars. A Scion Drive Shaft is a hollow conformed steel pipe that rotates with the transmission output, with universal or CV joints to transmit the torque evenly to the rear differential and flex with the suspension movement. When replacing a Drive Shaft, make sure to park on a flat surface, chock up the wheels and then use stands to raise the car up, then make a mark on the old shaft that you can then use to maintain balance in the drive tracts. Eliminate the bolts at each flange or yoke, radio the worn part and examine seals and splines to check wear. Install the Drive Shaft into the transmission with the flange, aligning the marks, and begin all the bolts manually. Tighten each part to specification in a crisscross fashion, verify that the joints are free to move, fill any lost fluid, and lastly, with a short road test to ensure that the shaft is free to spin without noise.
