The Scion CV Boot prevents grease to escape out of the constant velocity joint and allows a sporty Scion to provide smooth power without the axle being exposed to dirt and water. Scion was born in 2003, and it disrupted the shopping of cars with such a straightforward pricing scheme, bold paint, and a Release Series that made first time buyers feel that they had some sense of uniqueness. The brand had an online Scion City, attended music events and served as the rolling test lab of Toyota, selling over a million compact cars prior to 2016. This nebulous rubber shield prevents impurities, greases, and other dirt in, and prevents oil to escape on the axle, providing a smooth flow of power between the engine and the wheels.
