The Scion Dipstick enables drivers to check on engine oil fast to safeguard performance, introduce durability benefit, and express the lightheartedness of the brand. Introduced in 2003, Scion gained a cult following with the sale of small cars with bold colors, no haggle pricing, and one trim plan that ensured that the buying process was stress-free with the occasional Release Series production making each Scion model special. Installing is easy and can be installed in a driveway using simple hand tools although the new Dipstick fits like an OEM part on your Scion. Once the block or pan is parked and the engine is cool, find the factory Dipstick tube port on the block, remove whatever plug there may be, wipe the opening, lubricate the O-ring, then firmly press the tube until it clips in. Align bracket, screw on the bolt, keep the route out of hot areas, insert the Dipstick, remove it, making sure that it moves freely, turn on the engine momentarily, turn it off, inspect the leakage, and read the level.
