The tool cannot be used if LED lights up without pressing the deployment switch. Two Special Service Tool: 09082-00700 should connect to the front seat outer belt pretensioner but avoid locking the secondary pretensioner connector lock. When ready to activate the pretensioner through the deployment switch it is essential to maintain a 10 m (33 ft) distance from the vehicle front and verify that all doors are closed and no one exists within 10 m (33 ft) of the area. The front seat outer belt assembly along with the Special Service Tool must be removed after deployment while the outer belt should be placed in a plastic bag to become general waste through proper disposal. Leaving the hot outer belt alone is essential since it demands at least thirty minutes to cool down while you need both gloves and safety glasses to handle it. Before vehicle scrapping, activate the front seat outside pretensioners then proceed to destroy the car while it contains pretensioned devices.
