2010 Scion xD Oxygen Sensor Parts Q&A
Q: How to replace the Oxygen Sensor on 2010 Scion xD?
A: The process to remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the 2ZR-FE engine control system begins with front wiper arm head cap removal followed by taking apart both left and right front wiper arm assembly. The service begins with hood to cowl top seal detachment followed by removal of cowl top ventilator louvers on right-side and left-side positions. Carefully remove the front wiper motor together with its link before moving on to the front air shutter seal located on the right side. The technician should start by taking off the cowl top panel outer and then follow with removal of the No. 2 cylinder head cover. Last and first steps require a disconnected air fuel ratio sensor connector as well as clamp followed by usage of Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to extract the air fuel ratio sensor.
