The first step to remove the Neutral Safety Switch from the U341E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE involves taking out the ENGINE UNDER COVER LH. The TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY must be separated by undoing the nut while detaching it from the control shaft lever and by removing the clip when disconnecting from the control cable bracket. Unfasten the PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY by disconnecting its connector followed by removing the nut with washer and control shaft lever. Begin by removing the lock plate before taking out the manual valve shaft nut and then disconnect the 2 bolts which release the park/neutral position switch assembly.
