A new gasket should be used when temporarily installing the 2ZR-FE engine control system's engine coolant temperature sensor. The sensor installation process requires the use of Special Service Tool: 09817-33190 to achieve a torque of 20 Nm (200 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) when tightening. Add engine coolant after the installation then check for coolant leakages. Seal the installation by mounting the No. 2 cylinder head cover.
