How to install the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2008 Toyota Yaris?

A light application of engine oil should be applied to the O-ring on the sensor before installing it for the 1NZ-FE engine control system. Secure the sensor by installing its bolt without twisting the O-ring before tightening it to 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). The installation process requires you to link the crankshaft position sensor connector. You must install the cable on the negative terminal of the battery while tightening it to 5.4 Nm of torque (55 kgf-cm or 48 in-lbf torque). Before closing the vehicle inspect for any oil leaks from the engine and then fit the right engine under cover.
