How to install the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2008 Toyota Sienna?

Beginning ECM installation for the 2GR-FE engine control system requires you to mount the ECM with 2 nuts before applying 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) torque and then join all 5 ECM connections. Installations with a 10 speakers system require the application of 4 nuts to both the ECM and stereo components amplifier with the same torque value before connector attachment of the 5 ECM connectors and 2 stereo components amplifier connectors. Position the glove compartment door assembly by pushing its right wall first then moving to the left wall to set the stoppers. The next step should be to install the No. 2 instrument panel box. Perform distance control ECU recognition operations in the ECM before completing replacement of the ECM.
