Outside installation of the center Air Bag sensor assembly requires the use of 3 bolts while refuse installation of any component that experiences drop damage or displays cracks or dents or defects. The SRS wiring must stay clear of other car components during installation before tightening the 3 bolts with a torque of 17.5 Nm (179 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf) to check that the installation points remain secure. Install the 3 connectors properly to the center Air Bag sensor assembly after confirming that the waterproof sheet is correctly placed. The next stage of installation includes air duct No.1 rear followed by air duct No.3 rear and air duct No.4 rear together with the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly lower center, the instrument cluster finish panel assembly center, instrument panel box No.2, glove compartment door assembly, and floor carpet cover center RH. The procedures should match those used for floor carpet cover center LH. installation of the instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly lower LH completes the procedure together with reconnection of the negative battery cable for system initialization which may be required following battery disconnect.
