- Q: How to remove the TPMS Sensor and Transmitter on 2008 Toyota Sienna?A: The Tire Pressure Warning Valve and Transmitter can be removed by taking off both the front and rear wheels then. The tire needs a pressure release by removing its valve core and cap followed by taking out the nut and washer attached to the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter so that it can fall inside the tire. Save all the removed valve core beside the removed nut and washer as well as the cap for future use. The process of dropping the valve and transmitter into the tire should be followed by beading removal through the tire remover shoe while guarding the valve and transmitter from interference with the tire bead. Proceed with standard bead removal technique on the tire upper side before extracting the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter which requires bead removal also on the lower side using the same method. The replacement of tire pressure warning valve and transmitter requires using brand new grommets and washers.
