A "TORX" socket wrench T30 will serve to unfasten the 3 screws that allow access to the rear door lock for pulling out the release plate from the rear door exterior handle frame. The technician removes the seal connecting the rear door lock wire harness before using a taped screwdriver to expose the closed cover.
