How to remove the front door lock actuator on 2009 Toyota Sequoia?

The procedure starts with unfastening the front door lower frame bracket garnish and continuing with removal of the front door inside handle bezel plug along with the front armrest base upper panel and front door trim board sub-assembly. The replacement procedure starts with removing the front door trim No. 1 bracket followed by the front door service hole cover and the front door glass run and front door glass sub-assembly. The second step requires removal of the front door frame rear lower sub-assembly. A "TORX" socket wrench T30 helps remove three screws first before sliding the front door lock downward for pulling out the open rod from the outside handle frame and eventually taking out the front door lock unit. Detach the wire harness seal at the door lock then remove the remote control cable from the front door lock before using a taped screwdriver to open the protective cover by disengaging its 3 claws. As the final step detach the front door inside locking cable.
