How to install the Trunk Lid Latch with and without a Power Back Door on 2009 Toyota Sequoia?

Installation of the back door lock requires 3 bolt mounting followed by torquing them to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). The installation process concludes with connecting the connector and engaging the clamp. Installation of the door lock requires four bolts to achieve the same torque values before connector connection and clamp engagement. After installing the back door lock protector you must put on the back door service hole cover followed by installing the back door trim board assembly and the back door pull strap and the back door strap cover and then attach the back door side garnish LH and back door side garnish RH before finishing with the back door center garnish. The power back door rod installation steps should be performed for applicable fits.
