2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Washer Pump Parts Q&A
Q: How to troubleshoot a Washer Pump on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: To remove the windshield washer motor you must first remove the LH front fender mudguard followed by the side step assembly and then the LH body rocker panel moulding. You should remove the front fender liner LH by dislodging 2 screws with a T30 TORX tool then installing a removal tool to slacken 2 grommets, 12 clips, and the plastic panel from its attachments. Take out the washer fluid by disconnecting the windshield washer hose from the motor assembly. Use a clip remover to pull free the washer inlet and its clip from the housing. In both scenarios of windshield washer jar assembly detachment you must disconnect the appropriate components. With equipped headlight cleaner detach the clamp, then disconnect 2 connectors and the headlight cleaner hose. When not equipped simply unfasten the clamp and pulled off the connector. Disconnect the windshield washer jar by removing its 4 bolts. After that disconnect and extract the windshield washer motor plus pump alongside its gasket in the stated direction.
