2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to install the windshield Washer Pump assembly on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: Place the windshield washer motor assembly in position while keeping the gasket as depicted in illustrations ensuring it fits correctly then establish a connector connection. The windshield washer jar installation requires the use of 4 bolts with specific tightening sequence up to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) torque. The headlight cleaner system requires connecting both connectors and attaching the clamp but vehicles without this system need only connect the single connector followed by the clamp attachment. The washer inlet sub-assembly needs the clip to secure it while the washer hose must connect to the windshield washer motor and pump and the washer jar requires washer fluid addition for completion. The installation process begins with fitting the front fender liner LH by using 2 new grommets and 12 clips then executing 2 screws with a T30 "TORX" socket before installing the remaining 2 screws. Finish the task by placing the body rocker panel moulding assembly LH as well as the side step assembly LH and front fender mudguard LH in position.
