  A: Disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable is the starting point for removing the Air Injection Pump. The first step involves removing the front fender splash shield sub-assembly RH and then the front fender liner RH by unfastening the screw to separate it from the front bumper cover while using a T30 "TORX" socket to remove 3 screws and taking out 5 clips. Access to the air pump can be achieved by partially detaching the fender liner. You should disassemble the front fender apron seal front RH with 3 bolts and a screw by unclipping its attachment point to remove the fender splash shield. Take off the V-bank cover sub-assembly together with the air cleaner hose assembly and the air cleaner assembly. Unbolt the No. 2 air injection hose by removing 3 hose clamps at the engine room and disconnecting it at both hose terminals on front fender right-hand side. The repair requires removing the clamp and No. 3 hose on the engine room side followed by disposing of the clamp and No. 3 hose from the air pump inside the front fender RH and removing the clamp from the bracket.
