Fitting the rear strut rod To fit the rear strut rod, temporarily screw with a bolt and nut, being careful not to screw the nut. Up support the rear axle carrier, hook the inner strut rod, and jack up the carrier. Tighten bolts to 113 Nm, fit the parking brake cable to 6.0 Nm and tighten the rear wheel to 103 Nm.
