2008 Toyota Camry Control Arm Parts Q&A
Q: How to install the rear No. 2 Control Arm on 2008 Toyota Camry?
A: You should start by installing the inner side of the arm through its bolt and making an initial torque to keep the paint mark visible at the rear of the vehicle. Use the bolt and nut to join the outer side of the rear No. 2 suspension arm to the rear axle carrier before tightening the bolt partially but keeping the nut stationary. The suspension needs stabilization to complete the bolt tightening process first by setting the inner bolt to 100 Nm (1,020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf) torque followed by guiding the outer bolt to the same torque value. Complete installation of the rear wheel by tightening it to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) and check and adjust the rear wheel alignment when needed.
