2007 Toyota Camry Control Arm Parts Q&A
Q: How to service and repair the Control Arm in the front suspension on 2007 Toyota Camry?
A: Start servicing and repairing the Front Suspension Lower No. 1 Arm by removing the engine assembly with transaxle. The engine mounting insulator needs removal after breaking the 3 nuts holding it in place. Detach the front suspension lower No. 1 arm while you remove all 3 bolts alongside the nut before disconnecting it from the front frame assembly so you can take out the front lower arm bushing stopper. Start by installing the front lower arm bushing stopper followed by connecting the front suspension lower No. 1 arm to the front frame assembly through the 3 bolts and nut until they reach proper fit but avoid tightening yet. Follow the set bolt order for installation while using 200 Nm torque on A bolt along with 206 Nm torque on B bolt. The installation order involves the engine mounting insulator with its three nuts to be tightened to 87 Nm (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.). Install the engine assembly with transaxle as the final step.
