The first step for shock absorber disassembly includes fixing the shock absorber bracket with two bolts and nuts at its lower part before clamping it into a vise. Combine Special Service Tool: 09727-30021 with the coil spring compression process but minimize its use of an impact wrench to protect the tool from damage. First compress the shock absorber using tool 09727-30021 before extracting the nut then removing the collar and LH support suspension. Then eliminate the coil spring alongside its spring bumper and insulator lower.
