The installation of 2GR-FE emission control system oxygen sensors begins by using Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to mount both sensors to the front pipe assembly and applying first sensor torque at 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) while the second sensor requires 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf) at a 300 mm (11.81 in.) torque wrench fulcrum length. Secure the sensors to their positions then join the 2 oxygen sensor connectors.
