To install the heated oxygen sensors for the 2GR-FE emission control system, attach the sensors to the front pipe assembly using tool 09224-00010. Apply 44 Nm torque for the first sensor and 40 Nm for the second, then connect the sensor connectors.

How to replace the heated oxygen sensor on Toyota Avalon?

To change the sensor, unconnect the connectors and take out the sensors with Special Service Tool: 09224-00010.Install sensors again with torque of 44 N. m or 40 N. m using a 300 mm torque wrench. Lastly, reconnect oxygen sensors connectors.
