How to install the Trunk Lid Latch on 2008 Scion xD?

The installation of the back door lock starts with bolting down the back door using three bolts and applying torque at 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf) before connecting the connector. The installation order is to first place the back door trim board assembly then add the back door inside handle. Proceed with installing the back door side garnish LH followed by the installation of the back door side garnish RH. You should finish the installation sequence by putting in the back door trim upper panel assembly.
