How to install the front speed sensor on 2008 Scion xD?

Begin the front speed sensor installation process by fastening it to the steering knuckle while tightening the bolt to reach 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf) and checking the speed sensor tip free from debris along with an unchanged sensor position. The front portion of the installation requires securing both No. 1 sensor clamp onto the shock absorber at 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf) torque followed by No. 2 sensor clamp onto the body with 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf). Before installation you must connect the speed sensor connector as you install clamp A onto the body after securing clamps D, C, and B to the body. Succeeding installation orders include the front fender liner followed by side mudguard then rocker panel moulding cover. To complete installation the front wheel must be tightened to 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) and both the ABS sensor signal and VSC sensor signal require examination with VSC enabled.
